Abstract

The video of a unique encounter between a North American Raccoon Procyon lotor and a group of Bobcats Lynx rufus in a wooded area of Maine is discussed. In this footage, Bobcats appear to pursue the Raccoon, leading it to seek shelter. This interaction is considered in the context of the predator-prey relationship between the two species.
